Nor will we promise you a quick fix or try to sell you a pill or potion to solve all of your nutrition and fitness challenges. What you WILL find is sound, accurate nutrition and fitness information and practical ways to incorporate this information into your busy lifestyle.

Meet our Team:
Faye Krause, MS, MEd, RDN
Faye is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, licensed facilitator for the Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Program, and owner of Energized Intentions. Faye earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship through the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. In addition, she holds a Master of Science in Exercise, Fitness, and Health Promotion from George Mason University. Faye was a high school science teacher and administrator for 19 years before deciding to follow her passion for educating others about optimal health through food and nutrition. Faye believes in a non-diet, small step approach to lifestyle change and uses practical examples and hands-on education to help people of all ages reach their nutrition and fitness goals.
As an endurance athlete and Cross Country coach, Faye knows first-hand the impact that diet has on athletic performance and overall health. She has personally experienced how proper fueling of the body can enhance performance and optimize recovery. Having completed over 45 marathons and ultramarathons up to the 100k distance, Faye knows that no matter how good the physical training program, the body can only perform at its best when properly fueled. For this reason, she is passionate about teaching others, at any age and fitness level, how to use nutrition to help reach their potential in their chosen sport.
Claudette Vaughn, MS, RD
Claudette is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a Masters Degree in Public Health Nutrition. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition from the Pennsylvania State University in 1997. She earned her Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Internship at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in 2000. Claudette loves helping her clients find what works best for them and encourages and supports them to take small steps in the direction of their goals.
Claudette experienced firsthand at Penn State the transforming power of dietitian nutritionists. Penn State’s sports nutritionist worked with her and her team to perform at their best level through making the best food choices. As a senior, Claudette was a co-captain of the team and in her career earned two Big Ten Conference Champion titles as well as competed in two NCAA Final Four Championships. She currently enjoys running, biking, lifting weights, swimming, Zumba, and playing different sports with her family. She keeps up-to-date on the latest nutrition research through membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as three practice groups focused on weight management, sports and cardiovascular nutrition, and behavioral nutrition. Claudette’s comprehensive approach and background allows her to help others in their health journey.
Julie Weber, MEd, CPT
Julie is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Michigan State University and her Master of Education in Supervision and Leadership from Miami University. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Senior Fitness Specialist and as a TRX Suspension Training Instructor. Julie was an elementary school teacher and an Adjunct Professor for several universities for 15 years. Following her passion and hobby for fitness, Julie decided to change careers and become a personal trainer. Julie enjoys teaching people the many different ways to incorporate fitness and movement into their everyday life, in both traditional and nontraditional ways. She believes that committing to a healthy lifestyle means scheduling exercise into your days just like we schedule meetings and appointments.
She is an RRCA Certified Running Coach as well as a USA Level 1 and Level 2 Swim Coach. Julie grew up a swimmer and became an avid runner after becoming a Marine Corps wife 20 years ago. She has run races from 5K through marathon distance and knows how rewarding it is to feel the thrill of accomplishing fitness goals. Julie knows that health and fitness goals are attained one small step or workout at a time and that exercising does not have to be something you dread. Her goal is to help people experience exercise as an enjoyable and rewarding way to move closer to the healthy lifestyle desired.
